I was too late to the party (which I’m ashamed to admit as a solid Gen X-er…WTF, right?)….and did NOT get an Esprit sweatshirt that they have “relaunched” at COSCO some months ago. I want a black one…just like the one below that I wore from the late 80’s until it, quite literally, fell apart one day in the laundry decades later. Devastated. And the green turtle neck, which was always too tight around my young neck at the time, also fell apart one day.

LOVE that there’s been resurgence of labels from my Gen X HS and College days! We’re going to be talking about just that in our podcast that we’re recording tomorrow night! Can’t wait! Calling it “Our Clothes are Cool Again!” (I know they’ve been cool for awhile now-been noticing acid wash jean jackets, and neon in the stores over the years….) But when I saw this latest ESPRIT launch?

It made my Gen X heart happy! And hey, that’s saying something.
