This Sunday night on Minnesota Bound, August 2nd, we’re taking a look at GameFair, it always signals the approaching fall season. (disclaimer: GameFair 2020 is cancelled this year) We also take a look back at the Root Beer Lady, Dorothy Molter…a legend of the Boundary Waters!

This Sunday night, 7/26, on Minnesota Bound, we’re featuring Bud Burger! I used to work at Burger Brothers back “in the day” in the early 90’s, and can confirm that yes, Bud & Ted Burger are identical, and they did dress alike. Bud Burger made a career selling people outdoor equipment. Now he has a new hobby….sculpting life-sized art!

Combining two of my favorite things! Art and Outdoors and Nature! Stories of outdoor life documented with vivid colors of water – Artist Chrissy Johnson does spectacular work. Airing Prime-time on KARE-11/NBC Thursday, July 16th at 7;30 p.m., and then in our normal time slot, Sunday night, July 19th!

This Sunday night, June 14th, on Minnesota Bound…it’s a story that was bittersweet to produce and write. My Father (who died in 2012) is being inducted into the 2020 Fishing Hall of Fame. We did a feature on the man who was many things to many people…Father, Husband, Coach, Teacher, Mentor, The Fishing Professor…and of course…”Mac”.
